Nico Barning holds a Wageningen University Master's Degree in Management of Agricultural Knowledge Systems. He has over 35 years of professional experience in long term assignments (in total 15 years living and working in Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali, Bangladesh and Guatemala) and short term assignments (over 60 short term missions to Morocco, Benin, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Tanzania, Uganda, Mozambique, Rwanda, Burundi, Malawi, Kenya, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Bangladesh). He is specialized in TVET and Higher Education, Agricultural Development and Sustainable Food Systems.
